FAQ

Q: What is the lead time for your products?

A: Our standard products can be delivered within 25 days, while customized products may take 30-45 days to complete.

Q: What is the moisture content of wood that will not easily crack?

A: The moisture content we control for furniture materials is 8-12%, and for large board materials, it is 12-16%. Moisture content is only one factor affecting cracking and deformation. There is also the aging time of the wood. Our factory always keeps a stock of 300 cubic meters of wood, unlike other factories that only buy wood from the market when they have orders. It is possible that the purchased materials have just been dried by the wood merchant, and although the moisture content meets the standard, it is unstable and may also deform or crack. In addition, after making the white embryo furniture, it needs to be processed in a constant temperature room, which will greatly reduce the chance of cracking and deformation during painting.

Q: Is the desktop resistant to hot temperatures and will it be easily marked by water stains?

A:  Although our desktop is made of wood wax oil, we will first apply 2 layers of PU primer to seal the pores and prevent moisture from entering, so there will be no water stains.

Q: Will acrylic feet discolor over time?

A: In recent years, with the popularity of floating desks, acrylic table legs are very popular in the market, but prices vary widely. A pair of table legs can range from a few hundred to thousands of dollars. The basic ones are made of PVC, not real acrylic. The quality of acrylic is judged by its transparency and the duration of UV resistance. Our acrylic uses imported materials, and we guarantee that it will not turn yellow indoors for 5 years and outdoors for 3 years.

Q: Is the resin table wear-resistant and scratch-resistant?

A: The hardness of the resin is 85HB. It is also afraid of sharp objects, such as hardware and ceramics. If it is used in public places, we recommend applying a film treatment. The current film is very thin and the effect is very good. If it is for personal use, we do not recommend applying film, as the texture will be better. If it is really scratched, the repair process is quite complicated, requiring water polishing and artificial polishing with wax.

Q: How long will it take for the resin to turn yellow?

A: Our resin is made of pure imported materials. Currently, the anti-UV test shows that it will not turn yellow indoors for 5 years and outdoors for 2 years. By the way, our epoxy resin is of the same grade as children's toys, and we have testing reports to prove it.

Q: Will the colored panel you repair fade?

A: We apply a color-matching coating on the wood and then protect it with a layer of finish. It won't fade with normal use.

Q: Why is the thickness of your large panel only 4 centimeters? Can it be thicker?

A: The drying process can only dry the surface 20-30mm thickness, so wood with a thickness of more than 60 cannot be dried properly. The normal thickness of the rough board is 55, and after planing and sanding, the finished product is usually about 42-45mm thick.

Q: Where are your materials from and what grade are they?

Answer: Our materials are primarily from North America and some tropical rain forests in South America that practice sustainable logging. We use high-quality materials for our products.

Q: How waterproof are your tables?

Answer: Although we use wood wax oil for our tabletops, we apply 2 coats of PU sealant to seal the pores and prevent water from penetrating. Therefore, there will be no watermarks.

Q: Will solid wood furniture crack? How to deal with it if it cracks?

A: Solid wood furniture does have the risk of cracking. The factory's technology can only limit the risk of cracking to the maximum, but it cannot guarantee that it will not crack completely because wood is a living material just like our skin. In winter, it will be relatively dry, and during the process of releasing moisture, different textures have different stress, which can lead to cracking. Therefore, wood also needs maintenance. We recommend wiping it with wood wax oil every 3-6 months and avoiding air conditioning vents and underfloor heating as much as possible. There is a risk of cracking when the furniture is used in the northern regions. For the products used in the northern regions, we will add an extra anti-cracking treatment. Our wood is also dried, so even if it cracks, it will only be small cracks that will not affect its use. If cracking occurs, we suggest that it be stabilized for half a year to adapt to the humidity of the entire space before we carry out repair and beauty treatment.

Q: What kind of wood is used in your furniture?

A: We mainly use North American and South American hardwood, such as walnut, oak, and teak.

Q: Are your products handmade or machine-made?

Answer: Our products are mainly handmade, but we also use machines for some processing, such as cutting and polishing.

Q: Can you customize furniture according to our needs?

Answer: Yes, we offer customized services for furniture. You can send us your design or tell us your requirements, and we will make the furniture according to your needs.

Q: Do you provide a warranty for your furniture?

A: Yes, we offer a limited warranty on our furniture to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchase.

Q: Can you provide samples of your furniture?

Answer: Yes, we can provide samples of our furniture for customers to check the quality and design. However, we may charge a fee for samples and shipping.

Q: What is your painting process for the furniture?

A: We mainly use the German-imported Hansi wood wax oil and DaBao paint for our furniture. For tabletops that require water resistance and heat resistance, we use a PU sealing bottom layer before applying the wood wax oil to ensure practicality while retaining texture.

Q: What is the difference between American walnut and South American walnut?

A: The grain of South American walnut is larger because it grows faster in the tropical rainforest of South America. Black walnut grows slower in the colder North American region, resulting in finer texture, darker color, and better density.

Q: If I put the furniture on the balcony and it is exposed to the sun for a period of time during the day, will it crack?

A: Any product that is exposed to the sun for too long will age and fade. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight to reduce the risk of cracking and fading.

Q: Will there be wormholes in solid wood furniture over time? What should I do if there are wood-boring insects?

Answer: All of our materials are dried, and there is no risk of wormholes. If there are external insects entering, timely spraying of insecticides or injection with a needle can be used to eliminate them.

Q: How should I maintain and care for your products?

A: Try to avoid collisions or dragging heavy objects and prolonged exposure to sunlight or humid environments. If accidental water or stains are left, use a soft damp cloth to wipe them clean promptly and avoid using chemical cleaners or hard brushes for scrubbing. If there are minor scratches or wear and tear, you can use wood wax oil or repair wax for repair. If the damage is severe and requires professional repair, you can contact our customer service for assistance.

Q: Why do we sell our products more expensively than others with the same style and material?

Answer: Our company's product positioning is relatively high, and we have always served high-end designers. This group of people has very high requirements for products. For the same product, our materials and details will be relatively better. Our masters have higher requirements for making products, from material selection, form, internal structure, and service. These are relatively better. For example, the simplest desktop, the process of our bottom and surface is the same, both using German imported wood wax oil. Many factories have not polished or even painted the bottom, and some of the better ones are polished and oiled at the 10 cm edge that can be touched by hand, so furniture really cannot be judged by its surface.
